Becoming an Avon Representative is quick and simple.
Here is a step by step guide on how to become an Avon representative:
1. Fill out the Contact Us form on the Official Avon Website.
2. Receive an email from a leader with years of experience and knowledge.
3. Ask any questions through email, give your name and address.
4. Fill out and sign the Official Avon new representative form. This form will ask information such as your social security number and driver's license due to legal requirements. Avon must have this information to report your income to the IRS. YOU WILL NOT be asked to provide this information online due to security reasons.
5. Give the Avon New Representative form back to leader with your $20 to pay for your new Representative kit.
6. Leader enters your information into Avon's representative database.
7. You receive an Avon account number as well as a website address you will visit each day.
8. You log into the official Avon website and begin online training to learn when and how to turn in your order, how to charge taxes to customers, how to get more catalogs, etc.
9. You receive catalogs and a new Representative welcome kit with pamplets of information on how to order and how Avon works.
10. You put your name and phone number on each catalog, give them to friends, neighbors, and family.
11. Wait one day and return to each person you gave a catalog to, write down their order on a large piece of paper (no sticky notes, they get lost!).
12. On the day before or the day of your order due date, you enter all the orders you have collected into the Avon website (same URL you took your training at).
13. You do not give Avon any money yet. You receive the products you ordered at your doorstep (Avon delivers to you for free).
14. You sort the products and give them to your customers, collecting the money for the order at the same time. Don't forget to charge taxes!
15. You gather all the money together, keep your percentage in your pocket, pay Avon their percentage. Avon will have included an invoice for you to pay inside the box that came with the products.
